Support a 5-day workshop!
Not everyone is able to attend a 30-day intensive training; especially single moms with children at home. These 5 day trainings provide the essentials needed for growing food and overcoming local challenges. Attendees are all from the same village, and a set of tools is donated to that village upon completion of the 5-day training. Seeds are also given to the community.
These trainings are a wonderful way for us to select champions to attend our 30-day more intense training. Our whole focus is descipleship. We teach a man to fish - we don't just give a man a fish.
15 - 20 people attend each 5-day training. We are currently conducting one per month. The cost to run this program is $300. That is only $15 - $20 a person!
Attendees are living in an area with very little food options. Their country is currently importing 75% of what they eat; which is primarily refined white rice. Only 40% of the locals can read or write. Your donation goes very far with this project. Thank you for helping!
